      I celebrated the 4th of July by making a “Twelve Generations of Service” display case for my son Samuel, who is also an SAR member. He is interested in the Army, so I used hereditary society insignia to show the service of 12 generations of his ancestors. It is in the shape of an “A” because it is part of a three part series that spells out “SAM”.
