The Minnesota SAR’s 2023 Constitution Day luncheon will be hosted by our newly-constituted Northland chapter at the Kitchi Gammi Club, a private club in Duluth. Members and their guests are welcome, though we require that all attendees be registered beforehand.

The meeting will start with the usual social hour, and luncheon is served at noon. After the meal, we will convene for a brief meeting. We will recognize award recipients and welcome new members. Following this, the State Treasurer, Rick Smith, will present his experiences as he researched his own family history, tentatively titled, “Anti-Monarchists and Other Troublemakers.”

The meeting will also serve as an official meeting of the MNSAR State Board of Managers.

The Meal

The Kitchi Gammi Club is catering the meal, and provides the following options:

• Chicken entrée – $35.00 each
• Vegetarian entrée – $20.00 each
• Youth entrée – $20.00 each

Included in the cost will be a beverage bar with soft drinks, tea, and coffee.

Registration

To register, visit the registration page, enter your information in the “note” field, and pay the appropriate fee. Alternatively, you may mail a check to the State Treasurer. In both cases, please provide the following information:

• Names of members attending, including yourself
• Number of each kind of entrée desired (chicken, vegetarian, child)

If several members of your family with similar names belong to the State Society, provide enough of your name to distinguish yourself.

When registering online, be sure to include the bulleted information above: the names of members being registered, and the different types and numbers of entrées required.
