The State Society now has a way to share members-only reports online. Compatriots who have joined the mnsar@groups.io announcement list may “log in” to the groups.io site and find the reports by selecting “Files” from the left-hand column. At present the files area contains two folders:
- Resolutions by the MNSAR Board of Managers passed since 2023.
- Reports submitted for last year’s meeting
Reports for this year’s meeting on January 20 will be posted as they are available.

New MNSAR members typically receive an email invitation after their application is approved. If you are a member of the MNSAR but are not on the email list, you may join it by visiting its home page: https://mnsar.groups.io/g/main. Click on the blue button that says +Apply For Membership In This Group.
The button takes you to a signup page. Provide your email address and your SAR national membership number. If you can’t find your number, enter 0. If you have other family members in the Minnesota Society, be sure to
A state society officer will review your request to verify your membership. This may happen promptly or it may take a few days.
How to log in to Groups.io
Once you belong to the mnsar@groups.io email list, you are registered with the site. You do not need to create another account.

- Visit the site at https://groups.io. Click on the Log In button in the upper right corner of the web page.
- Enter the email address you used to sign up with the email list.
- Follow the instructions to set up a password, or to log in using an emailed link, or Google, or Facebook. I have not used the Google or Facebook login methods; you probably must use the same email for Google or Facebook that you use for the mailing list.
Looking at MNSAR Reports
Once you are logged in, go visit the MNSAR page at https://mnsar.groups.io/g/main. As described above, click on “Files” at the bottom of the left-hand column. This displays a list of folders and files. Many reports will reside in folders marked by year (see below).

Compatriots can read and copy these reports. The reports are for members of the MNSAR. Do not share them with others.
A limited number of MNSAR officials can add and replace files in these folders. Contact info@minnesotasar.org for further information.
