The MNSAR web site now takes advantage of the latest WordPress upgrades. We can now adapt the home page to highlight different aspects of the MNSAR. The latest version highlights the national SAR mission statement and logo, as encouraged by the national society. We also have two boxes to highlight our youth awards programs and activities in colonial uniforms.
Two more highlight boxes will soon appear on the home page. The first will provide information for new and current members. The second will provide guidance for people interested in becoming members.
As earlier announced on the site itself, the site was down periodically on August 20th to achieve the upgrade. The effort required installing a new “block oriented” site theme; the site now uses a theme called “Assembler.” Then the highlight boxes were constructed and added to the home page. There is now a separate “Posts” page that lists the individual posts similar to the previous site design.
