Minnesota SAR

Current members of the Minnesota Society of the Sons of the American Revolution may sign up for life memberships. This is a complete life membership package that includes chapter, state, and national membership. We fund the state and chapter life memberships at the state level. The national memberships are arranged through the national life membership program.

The program originated with our late compatriot, John Hallberg Jones, who promoted the national life membership program. He received national life membership #1.

Minnesota SAR requires a special application form (limited to state members only) combined with the national application form. You must have access to the MNSAR shared files to retrieve the application. Life membership costs vary with your age. Here are example costs:

Age 0-1: $2,038	Age 5: $2,006
Age 18: $1,872	Age 41: $1,509
Age 62: $1,017	Age 78: $525
Age 92: $206	Age 100+: $127

The application form specifies the cost for every age from 0 through 100+. The check should be made payable to the Minnesota SAR. You may also pay online by clicking the button below and selecting “Other” to enter your lifetime dues amount.
