Luncheon Meetings

The MNSAR holds three regular gatherings during the year. A Saturday luncheon meeting is held in January to conduct the main business of the Society. Saturday luncheons are also held in February to celebrate George Washington’s birthday and in September to celebrate Constitution Day. Read about past meetings in the newsletter.
Luncheon meetings usually take place at Jax Cafe.

Attendees generally wear business attire, typically a jacket and tie. Compatriots may also dress in colonial attire; the Color Guard wears colonial uniforms.
Meetings at Jax typically follow this schedule:
- 10:30 am: Members are welcome to arrive and socialize
- 11:00 am: Formal meeting begins: breakfast and lunch orders are placed.
- 11:30 am: Meeting takes a break when food is served.
Details on upcoming meetings are mailed to all MNSAR members.

Online Zoom Meetings
The Vice President General for the SAR North Central Region (Minnesota, the Dakotas, Nebraska, and Iowa) hosts an online zoom meeting every month. These are ‘informal’ in that there is no ‘dress code’ and they do not follow the agenda of a typical in-person meeting.
